Bio Statement:                       William K. Bimpong is a PhD candidate in Curriculum and Instruction at the Patton College of Education, Ohio University. He holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from Ohio University. His research interests include teacher cognition and teaching speaking skills in Less Commonly Taught Language (LCTL) classrooms.

Bio Statement:                       James Gyimah Manu is a Graduate Assistant at the Department of English, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He holds an MPhil and BA in English from KNUST. His research interests cover topics in the areas of Syntax, Semantics and Pragmatics. Currently, his research is focused on how Conceptual Metaphors, as a cognitive machinery, are used for communication in the Ghanaian media Landscape.

Bio Statement:                       Ọbádélé Bakari Kambon completed his PhD in Linguistics at the University of Ghana in 2012, winning the prestigious Vice-Chancellor’s award for the Best PhD Thesis in the Humanities. He also won the 2016 Provost’s Publications Award for best article in the College of Humanities. In 2019 he was the recipient of the [Nana] Marcus Mosiah Garvey Foundation award for excellence in Afrikan Studies and Education.  He is a Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Language, Literature and Drama Section of the Institute of African Studies at the University of Ghana. Okunini Kambon is currently Editor-in-Chief of the Ghana Journal of Linguistics as well as Secretary of the African Studies Association of Africa. Bio Statement:                       Clement Kwamina Insaidoo Appah (cappah@ug.edu.gh) is a Senior Lecturer in Linguistics at the University of Ghana. He holds a PhD in Linguistics from Lancaster University in the UK and was a Commonwealth Scholar (2008-2012). His research interest lies in Kwa morpho-syntax. His recent work has been in Linguistic Morphology and Morphological theory (Construction Morphology). He has published extensively on issues such as compounding, nominalization, diminutives, numeral constructions, serial verbs constructions and humor. An area of emphasis in his work has been how to account for properties of complex linguistic expressions that do not come from their constituents.
